Rules of Online Conduct and Behavior
The Campbell University School of Pharmacy (CUSOP) Alumni Community site ("Site") was created to allow CUSOP alumni (hereafter referred to as "Members") the ability to communicate and network with each other and the school, and to build upon the strong common bond we all share. In addition to appropriate CUSOP Faculty and Staff, only CUSOP Alumni, Pharmacy Alumni Association Student Members & Pharmacy Association Friends are members of this Site. CUSOP believes that clear and honest communication is an essential under-pinning for sustaining a healthy community. All communication within the school community should be undertaken in the spirit of courtesy and common sense.
Use of this Site is regulated both by these Rules of Online Conduct and Behavior as well as by the Computing Services Acceptable Use Policy promulgated by Campbell University (http://www.campbell.edu/resource/tech/policy.html). The CUSOP reserves the right to terminate the Membership status of any Member who violates these rules.
1. Vulgarity/Profanity and Offensive Language:
Members are to practice courtesy and common sense and are not allowed to use vulgar, profane, offensive or sexually explicit language on the site, in chat rooms, postings or communications. Members are not allowed to post offensive or sexually explicit pictures in their Profile pages. The CUSOP, at its sole discretion reserves the right to ban or eject Members who violate this rule.
2. Harassment:
Members are not allowed to harass other Members. Members agree not to transmit material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortuous, or otherwise objectionable. When one Member targets another Member specifically to cause him or her distress, embarrassment or other discomfort, this will be considered a form of harassment.
3. Junk Mail:
Members are to refrain from sending jokes, "junk mail", "spam", "chain letters" and/or other advertisements. Violation of this rule may be cause for suspension of website privileges.
4. No Soliciting:
Members are not allowed to harvest e-mail - download personal information of other Members for the purpose of collecting the information for sale, rental or otherwise, marketing to other Members, or sending unsolicited mass distribution of materials, files or images. Violation of this rule will be grounds for immediate suspension, action or termination of Membership status.
However, Members may use another Member's contact information to request or provide referrals or solicit advice in the ordinary course of their professional work. Furthermore, the CUSOP may from time to time solicit Members for CUSOP-related program support.
5. Proprietary Information:
Members will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.
CUSOP respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe your work has been copied and has been posted to this Site in a way that constitutes copyright or other intellectual property infringement, please contact CUSOP at rxalumni@sop.campbell.edu.
CUSOP takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted or uploaded by Members or any third party, or for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity they may encounter. CUSOP is solely providing a forum of interactive services, and is not liable for any statements, representations or content provided by its users in any public forum or personal home page.
6. Privacy Policy:
CUSOP considers communications between Members using the Site to be the private correspondence between the sender and recipient. Members are not to distribute any email addresses or information outside of this Site or CUSOP community.
CUSOP will not monitor, edit or disclose the contents of a Member's private communications, except that Members agree that CUSOP may do so:
· as required by law;
· to comply with legal process;
· if necessary to enforce these Rules of Online Conduct and Behavior;
· to respond to claims that such contents violate the rights of third-parties;
· to protect the rights of property of CUSOP or others.
7. Website Security Rules:
Members are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the website, including, without limitation:
· accessing data not intended for such user or logging into a server or account which the Member is not authorized to access,
· attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization,
· attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to the website, overloading, "flooding", "spamming", "mail bombing" or "crashing",
· sending unsolicited email, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services, or
· forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. CUSOP will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Members who are involved in such violations.
PLEASE NOTE THAT VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF MEMBER'S ACCESS TO THE WEB SITE.
8. Disclaimers:
"AS IS" BASIS. THIS SITE AND THE MATERIALS CONTAINED THEREIN ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT USE OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, DATA OR SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTED BY, DOWNLOADED OR ACCESSED FROM OR THROUGH THIS SITE, IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

Member agrees to indemnify and hold CUSOP, its affiliates, officers, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Member's use of the Site, Member's violation of these Online Rules of Conduct and Behavior, and/or Member's violation of any rights of another.
11. Applicable Law and Venue:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina applicable to agreements made and entirely to be performed within the State of North Carolina without resort to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be filed only in state or federal court located in North Carolina, and you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts over any suit, action or proceeding arising out of these terms and conditions.
12. Termination:
Notwithstanding any of these terms and conditions, CUSOP reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the Site, and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Site.
13. Severability:
If any provision of these Site Terms shall be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
CUSOP depends on the good will and cooperation of its members to succeed in fulfilling its mission. 14. Refund Policy:
If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, return it within 30 days for a full refund, replacement or exchange. To help us rapidly process your request, please return a copy of your receipt with the merchandise. We recommend that you return items via an insured mail service for your protection. Please note that the Campbell University School of Pharmacy Alumni Online Store will only refund shipping if your return was a result of our error.
